Islamabad: According to the Meteorological Department of Pakistan, Karachi will face extreme heat wave for the next 2 days. With already accelerating hot weather, it seems Karachi’s people will not be given any relief from the heat yet. It is advised for people to stay hydrated and if possible stay under shade to avoid heat stroke and dehydration. Water coolers have been placed by the road sides for people travelling to different locations during the day to stay hydrated.
Weather Around the Country
According to the weather forecast by the Meteorological Department, Karachi will have an increase by 4 to 5 centigrade than the usual hot weather, while many regions of the country are going to have rain with stormy winds. They also stated that Malakand division, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha Division, Islamabad, Fata, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir is to face a few more days of rainy weather.
The southern region of the country is expected to have an increased 4 to 5 centigrade than the usual hot weather from Tuesday to Thursday. On the other hand Karachi’s people are already suffering un-announced loadshedding due to the dispute between K-Electric and SSGC on which Chief Minister has asked the assistance of Prime Minister Pakistan to intervene and force the two parties to resolve the problem. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah had given till Wednesday for both the parties to come up with a solution to their dispute, but it seems like the Sindh Government has failed to make them do so, and so Karachi has to stay strong during this heat wave.
