In a heartening gesture ahead of Eid ul Adha 2024, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced a unique initiative to bring smiles to the faces of orphaned children and those whose guardians have fallen prey to robbery.
Governor Kamran Tessori, during his visit to the Sohrab Goth welfare trust office, shared the news that sacrificial goats will be distributed among deserving recipients. Not stopping there, he revealed that two camels will also be donated for “Ijtamai Qurbani,” fostering a spirit of community and compassion.
Camel Meat Distribution:
Under this noble initiative, children who have lost their parents or have been affected by robbery will receive goats from the Governor’s House. Furthermore, the Governor disclosed plans to sacrifice 100 camels during the Eid days, with the meat being distributed among deserving orphans, ensuring they too can partake in the joyous occasion.
The goat distribution process is set to commence three days before Eid, ensuring ample time for preparations and arrangements. Governor Kamran Tessori emphasized the importance of this initiative, highlighting the eligibility criteria for those who can benefit from it.
Eligibility for the Sindh Governor’s free Bakra initiative includes orphaned children and individuals whose guardians have been victims of robbery. The distribution of goats will commence three days before Eid, with plans to start on June 14th if Eid falls on June 17th.
