Light drizzle was recorded in Karachi early this morning, making weather conditions slightly cooler across multiple areas including Lyari, Mauripur, and Clifton. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, intermittent drizzle is likely to continue through the day with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.

The official weather forecast Karachi report states that the sky remains mostly cloudy. Winds are blowing at a speed of 19 km/h from the west, while gusts up to 35 km/h from SSW/WSW are expected later in the day. Humidity levels in the morning reached 70–80%, dropping to 55–65% in the evening.
The maximum temperature in Karachi today is likely to hit 35–36°C, with the minimum around 29°C.
As per Met Office updates, a low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea pushes moist currents into Sindh, which is expected to maintain drizzle chances until June 23. A pre-monsoon pattern is active across the region, increasing the likelihood of thunderstorms in the coming days.
From June 22 to 24, the weather forecast for Karachi shows overcast skies and breezy conditions with stray drizzle during early mornings and late nights. The temperature range will stay between 33–36°C. Winds will remain strong with moderate to high humidity.
The Met Office further alerts that the first monsoon spell in Karachi is expected to begin around June 25 and may extend into early July.
Residents are advised to stay updated on daily weather changes and carry rain gear when heading outdoors. Hydration is also recommended due to persistent humidity.
