Karachi weather is shifting gears as the city enters a cooler phase. Chief Meteorologist Sindh Ameer Haider confirms that temperatures will drop starting tomorrow. Residents should prepare for a dry, pleasant end to December with significantly colder mornings expected by early January. No rain is forecast for the next ten days.
Karachi Weather: Clear Skies and Dropping Mercury
The weather today in Karachi remains steady at 14°C, but a change is coming. Ameer Haider shared on Geo Pakistan that the city will see a consistent dip in mercury tonight. Expect the today weather patterns to transition into a cooler range between 12°C and 14°C through December 31.
This cooling trend follows a recent bout of heavy fog. Stagnant winds and high moisture levels caused the thick haze yesterday. However, the Chief Meteorologist expects no further fog over the next ten days. The air will remain dry and clear as we head into the new year.
What to Expect from the Weather Today in Karachi
While the sun brings daytime highs of 27°C, the nights are getting sharper. The current Karachi weather forecast shows a 0% chance of rain. Winds from the northeast will keep the atmosphere dry and crisp. This setup creates a “pleasant” atmosphere for the final week of December.
- Forecast (Dec 22–31): 12°C to 14°C lows.
- Rainfall: None expected.
- Visibility: Clear skies with no persistent fog.
The real winter chill arrives soon. Ameer Haider predicts the first two weeks of January will be notably cold. While weather in the coastal city is rarely extreme, the upcoming dip will be a noticeable shift for locals. Keep your winter gear ready as the dry Siberian winds begin to influence the region.
