Karachi Weather Update: City Faces Hot Days and Cooler Nights as Temperature Rises to 38°C

The most recent weather forecast of Karachi indicates a definite pattern of increasing daytime temperature in the city. Hot and dry weather is likely to persist, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) and the forecast shows that Karachi’s weather will hit a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius in the coming days.

The Early Warning Center of the PMD indicated that the temperature increase is as a result of dry northwestern winds blowing towards Balochistan. These winds are raising the level of heat during the day and maintaining the temperatures reasonably low at night. According to the current weather forecast issued by Karachi, the weather on Monday will be around 37 degrees Celsius, with a possible high of 38 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday and a low of 23 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological records also show that the temperature is still higher than the average temperature of October, which is normally between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast, no rain will fall in Karachi this week, as it is the dry season of October in the city. Although the heat could be experienced throughout the day, nights should remain favorable, with the difference in day and night temperatures remaining noticeable.

The PMD has prohibited inhabitants to remain hydrated and steer clear of direct daylight during the peak hours between noontime and 4 PM. Although the Karachi weather is clean, dry northwestern winds may have light haze or dust.

With no immediate sign of rain, the Karachi weather pattern is expected to stay stable through the week, combining hot afternoons with cooler nights. The department continues to monitor temperature trends as Karachi experiences above-average October heat this year.
