The Early Warning Center of the PMD indicated that the temperature increase is as a result of dry northwestern winds blowing towards Balochistan. These winds are raising the level of heat during the day and maintaining the temperatures reasonably low at night. According to the current weather forecast issued by Karachi, the weather on Monday will be around 37 degrees Celsius, with a possible high of 38 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday and a low of 23 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius.
The meteorological records also show that the temperature is still higher than the average temperature of October, which is normally between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast, no rain will fall in Karachi this week, as it is the dry season of October in the city.
