Karachi Weather Update Today, July 1: Heat Expected to Decrease

Karachi, July 1 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a decrease in the intensity of heat in Karachi starting today. After days of sweltering conditions, residents can look forward to some relief as the weather pattern shifts.

Weather Forecast and Conditions

According to the Meteorological Department, the low-pressure area that has been causing the recent heatwave is expected to dissipate soon. This change will allow the return of sea breezes, which will bring clouds and cooler temperatures to the city.

Meteorological Analysis

Jawad Memon, a meteorological analyst, reported that yesterday (Sunday) was another extremely hot and humid day in Karachi, with the perceived temperature surpassing 40 degrees Celsius in several areas. However, he assured that relief is on the way.

“The low-pressure system affecting Karachi is expected to weaken soon. Starting today, sea breezes will begin to resume, leading to a drop in both the actual and perceived temperatures,” Memon said.

Looking Ahead

With the anticipated return of sea breezes, residents can expect a more comfortable weather experience in the coming days. The Meteorological Department advises citizens to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight during peak hours until the cooler conditions take effect.
