To support farmers, the Punjab government has initiated the Kisan Card registration program, aiming to provide annual production loans totaling a whopping 300 billion rupees.
Under this scheme, farmers can easily apply for loans of up to Rs. 150,000 per crop cycle. This financial aid can be utilized to procure essential agricultural inputs such as fertilizer, seeds, and more, all through the Kisan Card registration.

Who Can Apply For Kisan Card Registartion?
More than 500,000 farmers are set to benefit from the Kisan Card program. To qualify, farmers must own up to 12.5 acres of land, duly registered in the land record center. Additionally, the farmer’s mobile SIM must be registered under their own ID card number.

Kisan Card Loan on Easy Installments
Upon verification of the farmer’s ID card from NADRA records and ensuring the absence of any financial defaults, the interest-free loan can be repaid in easy installments over six months. Following repayment, farmers become eligible to reapply for another loan for the subsequent crop cycle.
