KP Announces Free Electric Scooters for Female Students and Working Women

PESHAWAR: The approval has been granted to provide free electric scooters to female students and working women.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, during which the Chief Minister directed officials to take immediate steps for the distribution of the scooters.

During the briefing, it was stated that in the first phase, female students and working women in Peshawar will be provided with electric scooters. In the next phase, the scooter scheme will be expanded to other districts as well.

Sohail Afridi said that electric scooters would provide women with safer access to education and employment, while also helping to reduce air pollution.
