The government of Punjab announced plans to develop two new amusement parks in Lahore, aiming to boost public entertainment options. Muhammad Tahir Wattoo, Director General of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), revealed that these parks will be created through a public-private partnership.
The new amusement parks, set to open at Greater Iqbal Park and Racecourse Park, will offer a range of indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities. These parks are designed to cater to families and especially children, with exciting rides, engaging shows, and creatively themed areas.
These parks are expected to attract millions of visitors, significantly boosting the city’s entertainment scene. They are also anticipated to generate substantial revenue for the PHA.
