Main Gas Pipeline from Betani Oil Field to Punjab Blown Up in Lakki Marwat

A major gas pipeline supplying Punjab from Betani Oil Field was destroyed in an explosion in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The blast occurred near Wanda Amir within the limits of Saddar Police Station.

According to initial reports, unidentified individuals used explosives to target the pipeline. Security forces quickly sealed off the area for investigation. This is the third incident of gas pipeline sabotage in the region within a month.

The explosion has raised concerns over gas supply disruptions from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab. Authorities have yet to confirm the extent of the damage or restoration timeline.
