Malaysian PM will be the chief guest at Pakistan Day parade, DG ISPR


Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysian Prime Minister will attend Pakistan Day parade on March 23 as the chief guest.

Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad will be the chief guest at Pakistan Day parade, as revealed by DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor. On March 23, Malaysian PM, Oman govt officials, COAS Bahrain, and Defence Minister Azerbaijan will attend the parade. In addition, contingents from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Turkey will also participate.

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor revealed that Pakistan Zindabad will be the slogan of the parade. He further revealed that contingents of troops of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia will participate in the parade while paratroopers from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka will take part in free-fall jumps. China’s J-10 jets and Turkey’s F-16 will also put up an aerial display.

Last year, PM Imran Khan visited Malaysia and invited Malaysian PM to visit Pakistan. However, he accepted the invitation to be the chief guest at Pakistan Day parade.
