The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative, a significant step towards enhancing public service delivery, has expanded to 11 districts across Punjab, now offering over 60 services directly at the doorsteps of citizens. This initiative allows residents to access essential government services without visiting offices, ensuring convenience and saving time.
Over 60 Services Available at Your Doorstep
With the help of the ‘Doorstep Delivery App,’ developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), citizens can now receive various services from the comfort of their homes. The services include:
- Birth Certificates
- First Information Report (FIR) Copies
- Marriage Certificates
- Learner’s Driving Licenses
- Transfer of Vehicle Ownership
- Property Tax Payments
- e-Stamping
- International Driving License Renewal
- Police Character Certificates
- Tenant Registration
- Token Tax Payments
- General Police Verification
This initiative, which has garnered praise for its user-friendly approach, is designed to assist individuals from all walks of life, including women, the elderly, the sick, and working professionals.
Expanding Reach and Impact
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized the positive impact of the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ program, noting that it has brought significant relief by eliminating the need for citizens to visit government offices or stand in long queues. He further explained, “The program promotes a modern, innovative service delivery model, and we aim to expand these services across the entire province by the end of 2024.”

The program has now expanded its services to major districts in Punjab, including:

- Rawalpindi
- Faisalabad
- Gujranwala
- Multan
- Bahawalpur
- Dera Ghazi Khan
- Sargodha
- Sahiwal
- Okara
- Pakpattan
Residents of these districts can avail government services either through the Dastak Doorstep Delivery app or by calling the helpline at 1202.
