In a tragic incident, renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel’s son Asim Jameel shot dead on Sunday evening.
According to police spokesperson dead body of Asim Jameel was shifted to Talumba Hospital and further investigation is underway.
The RPO Multan Sohail Chaudhary said that son of Maulana Tariq Jameel was shot in the chest.
The renowned scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel confirmed the tragic news. He took to X formerly Twitter saying that ‘To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return’
Maulana Tariq Jameel said that his son Asim Jameel passed away today in Talamba. ‘This accidental death made the atmosphere mournful.’ he added
He request everyone to remember his slain son Asim Jameel in prayers. ‘May Allah grant my son a high place in Jannat al-Firdous.’
Maulana Tariq Jameel is a prominent islamic scholar who is also one of the most popular preachers in Pakistan and around the world.
His lectures focus on the subject of self-purification, avoidance of violence, observance of Allah’s orders and pursuing the way of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Earlier news regarding Maulana Tariq Jameel’s heart attack made rounds on social media. He was admitted to a hospital after suffering from a heart attack in Canada.
