Minister Enclave: Shahbaz Sharif’s residence declared as sub jail

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday issued the notification to declaring Minister Enclave, the residence of Shahbaz Sharif as a sub jail.

Minister Enclave, Shahbaz Sharif residence is now declared as sub jail. The notification is issued in this regard.

Today, in Ashiana Housing Scheme Case, Shahbaz Sharif’s physical remand extended by 10 days. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly appeared in the court today.

During the hearing, NAB asked a 15 day extension in Shahbaz’s physical remand. The court earlier reserved decision on NAB’s request for the extension. However, it extended by 10 days, in which 3 day transit remand is included. In addition, court ordered that Shahbaz Sharif be appeared again on November 7.

Shahbaz was arrested in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case on October 5, after he stepped in front of NAB in the Saaf Pani case.

Later, Accountability Court in Lahore granted the anti-graft body a 10-day physical remand for Shahbaz Sharif. His remand was then extended on October 16 for about 14 days.
