Sindh High Court or SHC demanded the report in missing persons case from the law enforcement authorities.

In the missing persons case hearing, the Sindh High Court summoned director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) provincial task forces, and heads of the joint investigation teams (JITs). In addition, the court also asked the report from the Sindh home department, rangers, and police. However, Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto is hearing the case related to the recovery of around 70 missing persons.

SHC Judge remarked that police has failed to trace missing persons. Families of the missing persons are grieving and crying in courts, but police does not even sympathize with them.

Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto said that the investigation officer Aftab Alam should be jailed for the non-implementation of orders. He said that the court ordered that cooperation be sought from the print and electronic media on the missing persons matter. He further added that missing persons should be recovered. The court can also issue orders against the provincial task force and others.
