Prime Minister Imran Khan is on ninth position among the most popular world leaders with millions of followers on twitter.
Among most popular world leaders, PM Imran Khan ranks ninth with over 9.4 million twitter followers. According to the report, US President Donald Trump is on first position with over 59.5 million followers. He is followed by Indian PM Narendra Modi and Pope Francis.
The fourth position is taken by Recep Erdogan with over 13.6 million followers. Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Jordan’s Queen Rania are on fifth, sixth, and seventh position respectively. The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the next in the list.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman follows the premier on the list which ranks British Prime Minister Theresa May and French President Emmanuel Macron on 11th and 12th positions respectively.
According to the report, PM Imran, who was sworn into power in August 2018, is also the most popular Pakistani leader. Followers of PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif were 5.06 million and PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stood at 3.24 million.
