Muhammad Ali Mirza Reveals Imran Khan’s Routine in Adiala Jail

Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza shared his experiences in Adiala Jail during a podcast with journalist Irshad Bhatti. He revealed that a wall separated his cell from Imran Khan’s section. Mirza was housed with three people and three mills, while Khan had six mills and an assigned laborer.

Mirza said he occasionally heard Khan’s voice. Khan mostly spoke to his laborer about cricket, avoiding politics. Khan also had a TV and two newspapers. Mirza added that Khan was served raw meat, cooked by his laborer, and the smell of ghee frying was noticeable in the cell.

Khan ate twice a day—breakfast at 9 a.m. and dinner at 3 p.m. Mirza emphasized that after November 4, he no longer heard Khan, as the former Prime Minister had been moved to another section receiving sunlight.

The revelations provide rare insights into Imran Khan’s jail routine, daily diet, and limited interactions. Social media and political circles have shown curiosity over these details, as they shed light on life behind bars for high-profile politicians in Pakistan.
