A Karachi court has granted bail to Armaghan on the illegal call center case that was connected to the murder of Mustafa Aamir. By January 5, 2026, the accused is in prison because of other outstanding cases and the major murder case and financial crime investigations.
On January 5, 2026, the Judicial Magistrate South approved bail for Armaghan in a case related to running an illegal call center. Armaghan is also the main accused in the high-profile Mustafa Aamir murder case. The court ordered him to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000. The judge directed authorities to release him only if he is not required in any other case.
Defense counsel Khurram Abbas Advocate told the court that investigators completed the inquiry in 2025. He said authorities presented no evidence against his client. He added that the case has no complainant and no witnesses.
Other Cases Still Ongoing
Despite the bail order, Armaghan remains in custody. He faces several other serious charges. These include the Mustafa Aamir murder case, illegal weapons possession, and money laundering. Courts have not issued bail in these matters yet.
Investigators earlier linked Armaghan to operating a call center in Karachi’s DHA area. Reports claim multiple employees worked at the site. Authorities also allowed the Federal Investigation Agency to probe possible money laundering linked to his activities. These investigations remain active.
Status of the Mustafa Aamir Murder Case
The Mustafa Aamir murder case continues to move through the courts. DNA reports confirmed that exhumed remains belonged to Mustafa Aamir. This finding strengthened the prosecution’s case and kept public attention on the trial.
Police continue to present evidence and statements in court. A final charge sheet has not yet concluded the matter. Hearings remain ongoing.
The case continues to draw strong public interest. Legal experts say the bail in one case does not affect the murder trial. For now, Armaghan stays in jail as courts review the remaining charges. Authorities say proceedings will continue under the law.
