Muzaffargarh Police Refute Jamshed Dasti Harassment Claims

In a recent development, SHO Khurram Riaz of Police Station City, Muzaffargarh, has strongly denied Jamshed Dasti harassment claims, labeling them as false and without foundation.

According to SHO Riaz, there was no police raid conducted on Jamshed Dasti’s residence, and his family was not subjected to any form of harassment. The law enforcement official clarified that the process of collecting Jamshed Dasti’s nomination papers went smoothly without any reported incidents of intimidation.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has unveiled details regarding the nomination papers accepted for the upcoming 2024 general elections. A total of 22,711 candidates have had their nomination papers approved, contributing to a cumulative count of 25,951 nomination papers collected for the general sessions across National and Provincial Assemblies.

This development sheds light on the ongoing electoral proceedings, with the law enforcement authorities and election commission ensuring a transparent and fair election process for the benefit of all candidates involved.
