NADRA E-Registration for Marriages, Births, Deaths, and Divorces Launched Across Punjab

Online CRM E-Registration System of Punjab Launches Marriages, Births, Deaths and Divorces. The Local Government Department of Punjab along with NADRA has launched a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) e-registration application which allows residents to conduct marriages, divorces, births and deaths online.

Zeeshan Rafiq, the Minister of Provincial Local Government, officially introduced the system and emphasized that citizens no longer need to visit the government offices to complete vital record registrations. After filing a record via the app, it is reflected automatically on the database of NADRA, and thus real-time updating and proper record keeping are ensured.

The minister said this initiative would work to streamline the registration process and enhance the quality of records in the province.

Recent agreement between NADRA and the Local Government Department completed the e-registration framework. The system has been deployed across the Punjab area and is fully functional at the Union Council level, rendering it available to every citizen of the state.

This will be a big step towards digital governance in Punjab, which will bring increased convenience and efficiency to the citizens.
