In June 2024, the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has maintained the fee for issuing the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) at Rs 1,000. This document, essential for Pakistani citizens, provides comprehensive details about family members, categorized under birth, marriage, or adoption.
For those applying under the birth category, the FRC will include data about parents and siblings. Similarly, for marriage, the certificate will list information about the spouse and children. In the adoption category, details of the guardian and family will be included.
Applying for the FRC can be done either by visiting the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through the Pak-Identity website. The fee structure remains consistent across categories. Regular processing takes 31 days, while urgent processing takes 15 days with a fee of Rs 1,000. For those opting for executive processing, which takes 7 days, the fee also remains at Rs 1,000.
Additionally, NADRA offers other services with varying fees, including new CNIC issuance, smart NIC modifications or duplicates, CRC issuance, and CNIC cancellation due to death.
For Pakistani citizens in need of a Family Registration Certificate, NADRA ensures a streamlined process with transparent fee structures, facilitating citizens in obtaining essential documentation.
