National Assembly Inaugural Session: Three fathers and their sons took oath


Islamabad: Three fathers along with their sons took the oath for MNA in the National Assembly inaugural session.

In today’s National Assembly inaugural session, three senior political leaders took the oath along with their sons. Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his son Zain Qureshi, Pervaiz Malik and his son Ali Pervaiz Malik, Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took the oath.

PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi won Pakistan Election 2018 from NA-156 Multan and grabbed 116,272 votes. However, his son Zain Qureshi got victory from NA-157 Multan with 77,371 votes.

Pervaiz Malik came as a winner from NA-133 Lahore constituency by grabbing 89,678 votes. Pervaiz’s son Ali Pervaiz Malik won the NA-127 Lahore constituency by getting 113,265 votes.

Asif Ali Zardari grabbed the NA-213 Shaheed Benazirabad constituency by getting 101,362 votes. However, his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari became winner in NA-200 Larkana by grabbing 50,200 votes.

NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq took the Oath from 331 MNAs in today’s National Assembly inaugural session. According to constitution, it is compulsory to convene the assembly session within 21 days of general elections in the country.
