National Assembly Session to Take Place at 4 pm Today, Shehbaz Sharif As Attendee
On Monday, a session of the National Assembly will take place at 4 pm (today). Shehbaz Sharif has also been summoned to the meeting.
Just before the session, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan summoned a parliamentary meeting of his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Sources state that the meeting will deeply discuss a strategy for the opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) and suggestions on what to do about the planned protest.
On October 26, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser issued orders for Shehbaz Sharif to attend Monday’s (today) National Assembly session.
Shehbaz was also one of the attendees who attended October 17’s last NA in which he said there is “an unholy alliance between NAB and the PTI”. While addressing the Parliament, Shehbaz Sharif also u unveiled the questions that he was being asked by the investigators.
While also delving into the details involving the Ashiana Housing Scheme, Shehbaz had said, “A NAB official told me that there are no corruption allegations against me in the housing case, but that I used my position to give the contract to former army chief General (retd) Ashfaq Parvez Kayani’s brother to please him.”
