The Weather Forecast Department anticipates a nationwide downpour in the coming days. From February 29 to March 2, most regions of the country are expected to experience rainfall, accompanied by wind and gusts due to increased cloud cover.
The department forecasts that a series of western winds will sweep across the country’s western regions starting February 29. This weather pattern is likely to bring rainfall to various parts of Balochistan from February 29 to March 1.
From February 29 to March 3, several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Haripur, Kohistan, Karak, Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera, are expected to receive rainfall. Other cities like Lucky Marwat and Mardan are also likely to experience rainfall. Furthermore, precipitation is anticipated in Islamabad, Murree, Galiyat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir.
In Sindh, most districts are likely to experience thundershowers from February 29 to March 1. Cities including Sukkur, Jackobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and Khairpur are expected to be affected.
