Islamabad High Court (IHC) will recommence the hearing of Nawaz case transfer plea on Tuesday (today).
IHC will resume Nawaz case transfer plea hearing today. However, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Prime Minister requested to transfer remaining case to another judge.
Yesterday, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi said that the acceptance of Nawaz case transfer plea wasn’t possible post indictment. He further added that Judge Muhammad Bashir had hearing the arguments of defence in Flagship and Al-Azizia references for 10 months.
Justice Aurangzeb remarked that all evidences in three corruption cases are inter-linked with each other. He said that it is not like a case that they hear on daily basis and asked that how the interrelated facts could be separated.
In reply, NAB prosecutor revealed that defence did not submit the petition in Supreme Court against appeal’s rejection to club all references. However, once the accused become indicted then the transfer of reference is not possible.
