Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is facing health issues in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif is facing several health issues in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi due to dehydration. Earlier, a team of health officials visited him to carry out the medical checkup that seemed normal. However, jail sources revealed that Nawaz Sharif is suffering from dehydration that is causing several health issues. In addition, authorities will analyze his condition today and later decide about his shifting to the hospital.
According to jail sources, the summer heat caused him dehydration. In addition, jail superintendent wrote a letter to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to develop a medical board to analyze Nawaz’s health.
Inspector General (IG) of prisons for Punjab, Mirza Shahid Saleem Baig, asked the board to send the medical report as soon as possible to take further action if required.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were arrested on July 13 at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore due to Avenfield verdict. They were then shifted to Adiala Jail Rawalpindi to serve the announced sentence.
