Nawaz Sharif Blames Caretaker Government for Load Shedding


ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif said that the caretaker government is responsible for load shedding, while speaking to media outside Accountability Court.

The former premier Nawaz Sharif spoke to media outside the Accountability Court-I, today. He said that the PML-N government had left after adding 10,000 Megawatts of power to the country. He added that during their government there was no sign left of load shedding.

Nawaz Sharif said that the caretaker is now responsible for the affairs of the state.

He said that if Muslim League-Nawaz comes back into government then they will provide the country with more power.

During his informal talks with media outside court, he was asked about the press statement of DG ISPR about social media. To which Nawaz answered that he did not hear the whole press conference so he cannot answer for sure.

Nawaz Criticizes decision of the Lahore High Court’s decision to reject the nomination papers amended by Assembly. He said how can a single bench of LHC invalidate nomination papers made by a democratic Assembly.

To which he was informed by a reporter that the Supreme Court had suspended the decision. Hearing this Nawaz said that that was afterwards though.

The former Prime Minister also said to form a national commission for accountability if they are elected again. He said that if we put the house in order then the whole country will be in order.
