The Nigehban Ramadan Package 2024 is set to bring relief to the doorsteps of beneficiaries in Lahore. Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa announced that the distribution of these aid packages will continue until the 10th of Ramadan.
In a recent meeting, the Commissioner reviewed the distribution process and the establishment of agricultural fair price shops in Model Bazaars across the division. The Negahban Rashan Program has already reached 117,781 eligible individuals in the Lahore division, with a daily target set for each district.
Lahore is aiming for a daily delivery target of 25,000 to 30,000, while Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Nankana Sahib have set their sights on 10,000 to 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000 to 10,000 deliveries respectively. So far, 75,000 eligible individuals in Lahore have received their Ramadan Negahban packages.
For data verification, CNIC numbers and household addresses have been collected. The Commissioner announced that the Ramadan package delivery will cover over a million eligible individuals in the division.
Starting Monday, agricultural fair price shops will be activated in all model bazaars across the Lahore division, with 10 such shops planned for Lahore alone.
