New Black Magic Law in Pakistan 2026: Section 297‑A PPC Imposes Jail and Hefty Fines

The goal is to stop fraud and harm linked to spiritual deception. The text of Section 297‑A PPC specifies that advertising or offering such services falls under this law. This makes the black magic law in Pakistan stronger than before.

Exemption: Licensed Spiritual Healers

The new black magic bill makes exemption to those people who are licensed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. These are the healers who will be able to extend spiritual healing without punishment of black magic. The legislation is only concerned with illegal and destructive activities.

Prior to this reform, Pakistan had no particular act against black magic in Pakistan and other frauds. Grievances were previously categorized under the general criminal charges. The legal system can now take direct action against exploitative practices against the new black magic law in Pakistan under Section 297-A PPC.

Implementation remains key. The black magic has a lot of cases of informal networks and online claim. The courts and police are now required to utilize black magic punishment as stipulated by the 297-A PPC to prevent the harmful practices.
