The new Gwadar International Airport is finally nearing completion, with the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) confirming its operations will start by the end of December. This exciting development announced by Acting Director-General Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed during a visit to the construction site, accompanied by senior officials from the PAA.

The visit, led by Saeed along with Deputy DG Airports Engineer Sadiqur Rehman and Project Director Engineer Faizullah Khattak, aimed to review the airport’s readiness. The team met with key stakeholders, including representatives from the Gwadar Development Authority, Gwadar Port Authority, the Pakistan Navy, and the Pakistan Army.
The project director shared updates on the airport’s advanced features and the economic potential it holds for the region. Saeed expressed satisfaction with the progress and praised the dedication of the project team. He assured that all necessary steps taken to make the new Gwadar International Airport operational as planned.
