In an effort to enhance water infrastructure, the Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) has announced the repair of a crucial 48-inch water line at Karachi University. This repair work is scheduled to commence at 8 am on June 22 and is anticipated to conclude by 8 pm on June 23, spanning a total duration of 36 hours.
During this period, water supply will be temporarily suspended in select areas of Karachi, including Gulshan, the Central District, Gulistan Johar, and Scheme 33. This maintenance initiative underscores the city’s commitment to ensuring a robust and efficient water supply system for its residents.
In other news, weather forecasts for Friday indicate predominantly hot weather across most upper districts of the province, with coastal areas experiencing a combination of heat and humidity. Additionally, there is a possibility of windstorms, thunderstorms, and isolated rainfall in Dadu, Larkana, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, and Thatta.
