Northeast Winds Intensify Karachi’s Cold Wave: Temperature Drops to 6°C!

Karachi is currently experiencing a cold wave, with temperatures dropping to single digits. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that this cold spell will persist until January 9, 2025.

According to the PMD, Karachi’s weather is expected to remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature may reach up to 26°C, while the minimum could drop to around 8°C. Northeast winds are anticipated to blow at speeds between 5 to 15 kilometers per hour.

In recent days, Karachi has recorded minimum temperatures as low as 6°C, intensifying the cold wave across the city.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm during this period. The PMD continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed.
