Exciting News for Prospective Drivers: Deadline Extension for Old Fee Driving License Applications in Punjab
In a welcome development for aspiring drivers in Punjab, the Caretaker Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, shared encouraging news during a media interaction. He revealed that, in the spirit of the New Year, individuals can avail themselves of the opportunity to secure their driving licenses by submitting the old fee until January 9.
The Chief Minister emphasized that starting from January 10, the issuance of driving licenses will transition to the new fee structure. This extension of 9 days provides a valuable window for urban residents to benefit from the previous, more affordable rates and obtain their licenses.
In addition to this driver-friendly initiative, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated a virtual system after upgrading 36 police stations. The formal opening of the Gulshan Iqbal Police Station’s premises also marked a significant step in bolstering administrative infrastructure.
This development not only eases the financial burden on prospective drivers but also underscores the government’s commitment to facilitating and streamlining essential services. It is a noteworthy opportunity for individuals to act promptly and capitalize on the extended deadline to secure their driving licenses at the existing, more budget-friendly rates.
