PAK vs WI: First T20 Starts At 6pm Today

Pakistan and West Indies are set to play their first T20 match at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday evening.

This will be the first match of the three T20 internationals against the West Indies. It will be televised live on local sports channels at 6pm.

Three West Indies players had tested positive for the novel coronavirus over the weekend. Pacer Sheldon Cottrell, all-rounders Roston Chase and Kyle Mayers will be missing the first match.

We want to carry the momentum and the confidence that we have gained during the World Cup and the tour of Bangladesh, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said in a pre-match media talk on Sunday.

There has always been talk that they are missing some key players but all those who are here are of international standard so we will not take them easy.

If we look at records then Pakistan stands out as the favorites in the tournament. The team has beaten the West Indies in 12 of their 18 T20I clashes.
