A Pakistan Army captain embraced martyrdom while another soldier was critically injured while neutralizing an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Mohmand District.
The news is confirmed by ISPR spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday.
Pakistan army Captain Zarghaam Fareed, 25 years old, was martyred as he was neutralizing an IED detected at Mohmand Gat in Mohmand District.
Sepoy Rehan of the bomb disposal squad was critically injured in the explosion, the director-general of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wrote on Twitter.

According to news sources, 25-year old Pakistan army Captain Zarghaam was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha.
Major General Asif Ghafoor also used his personal Twitter account to share that Captain Zarghaam belonged to his unit.
“Amidst national and professional pride, personally grieved on losing a youngster from my unit,” he wrote and shared three pictures of the officer who laid his life for his country.
