Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) finalized the initial preparations for Pakistan By-Election 2018.
The Pakistan By-Election 2018 will be held on October 14 and ECP completed its initial preparations. Different political parties and independent candidates will contest in the upcoming poll.
Pakistan By-Election 2018 will be held on 11 National Assembly and 25 provincial assemblies’ seats. However, the polls will be conducted on 9 seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 12 in Punjab Assembly, and 2 each in Balochistan and Sindh.
According to ECP sources, the ballot papers for all provincial and National Assembly seats are now printed. In addition, the armed forces will be also deployed in polling stations. However, the aim is to ensure the smooth polling process.
The polling equipment also been sent to all returning officers. The staff of ECP also got training and duties are assigned to them. In addition, during the Pakistan By-Election 2018, Carrying mobiles to the polling stations will not be allowed. However, CCTV cameras will be also installed at all sensitive polling stations.
