Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) failed to retain some seats that they won in General Election 2018.
During Pakistan by-election 2018, PTI lost the NA-131 Lahore to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Khawaja Saad Rafique. Earlier, PM Imran Khan won that seat.
National Assembly
In NA-35 Bannu, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI) Zahid Durrani, with whom the PML-N had allied secured the seat previously won by PM Imran Khan.
In NA-56 Attock, PML-N’s Malik Sohail Khan secured the seat earlier won by PTI.
In NA-103 Faisalabad, PTI�s Saadullah Baloch defeated by PML-N�s Ali Gohar Baloch.
Punjab Assembly
PTI won 3, PML-N secured 6, while independent candidates got the 2 seats.
In PP-27 Jhelum, PML-N’s Nasir Mahmood won the constituency vacated by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
PTI also suffered a setback in PP-292 Dera Ghazi Khan, which is the CM Punjab Usman Buzdar�s home town.
However, in PP-222 Multan, PTI lost the Pakistan by-election 2018 to independent candidate Qasim Abbas Khan.
KP Assembly
In PK-3 Swat, PML-N’s Sardar Khan won the Pakistan by-election 2018 against PTI.
However, in PK-7 Swat, Awami National Party (ANP) candidate won against the ruling party.
