Pakistan By-Election 2018: PTI won NA-247, PS-111, lost PK-71 to ANP

According to unofficial results, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) won the PS-111 and NA-247 seats from Karachi. However, it lost PK-71 Peshawar to Awami National Party (ANP) during Pakistan by-election 2018.

In yesterday’s Pakistan by-election 2018, PTI won NA-247 Karachi and PS-111 Karachi and lost PK-71 Peshawar to ANP. In NA-247 Karachi, Aftab Hussain Siddiqui from PTI got 32,326 votes. However, Sadiq Iftikhar from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and Qaiser Khan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) got 13,985 and 13,012 votes respectively.

In PS-111, Shahzad Qureshi from PTI got 11,658 votes while Muhammad Fayyaz Pirzada from PPPP and Jehanzeb Mughal from MQM-P got 5,780 and 2,146 votes respectively.

ANP won PK-71 Peshawar

In PK-71, Salahuddin from ANP snatched the seat from PTI. He got 11,257 votes while Zulfiqar Khan from PTI got 9,854 votes. However, the seat became vacant as Shah Farman left the seat after his appointment as the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
