In the ongoing 2024 general elections in Pakistan, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has emerged as a dominant force in the Sindh Assembly. PPP Rising with securing 27 seats according to unofficial and non-governmental results. The party’s success is evident in various key constituencies across the province.
In PS-6 Kashmore 3, PPP’s Mubashir Ali Khan Bijarani secured a resounding victory with 86,365 votes, leaving PTI’s Abdul Qayyum trailing with 9,945 votes.
Similarly, in PS-7 Shikarpur 1, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh of the PPP emerged victorious with 60,904 votes, surpassing PTI’s Agha Timur Khan, who secured 43,575 votes.
Sindh Assembly Election Results
The trend continued in other constituencies, including PS-10 Larkana 1, where PPP’s Faryal Talpur secured victory with 85,800 votes, and PS-20 Ghotki 3, where Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr claimed the seat with 87,431 votes.
In the closely contested PS-22 Sukkur 1, PPP’s Akramullah secured victory with 42,275 votes. It is narrowly beating PTI’s Muhammad Mobeen, who garnered 40,005 votes.
However, the PPP also celebrated victories in PS-27 Khairpur 2, PS-29 Khairpur 4, and PS-30 Khairpur 5, with Halar Wasan, Shiraz Shaukat Rajpar, and Naeem Ahmed Kharal respectively emerging as winners in their respective constituencies.
Further solidifying their dominance, PPP candidates Shahid Thaheem, Noreen Ahmed Bhargari, and Tariq Ali secured victories in PS-44 Sanghar 5, PS-47 Mirpur Khas 3, and PS-48 Mirpur Khas 4, respectively.
In Umerkot, PPP’s Sardar Ali Shah and Syed Amir Ali Shah emerged victorious in PS-49 Umerkot 1 and PS-50 Umerkot 2.
The PPP’s success extended to other constituencies. Makhdoom Mahboob Zaman winning in PS-56 Matiari 1, Jam Khan Shoro in PS-60 Hyderabad 1, Sharjeel Memon in PS-61 Hyderabad 2, and Muhammad Halepoto in PS-68 Badin 1.
Mir Allah Bakhsh Talpur secured victory in PS-69 Badin 2. While Arbab Amir Amanullah claimed the seat in PS-70 Badin 3. Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi emerged victorious in PS-75 Thatta 1, securing 75,823 votes.

In Jamshoro, PPP’s Murad Ali Shah, Dr. Sikander Ali Shoro, and Roshan Ali Baroro secured victories in PS-77, PS-78, and PS-83 respectively.
In Malir 3, Abdul Razaq Raja of the PPP secured victory with 15,017 votes, defeating PML-N’s Muhammad Yaqoob, who secured the second position with 6,633 votes.
Meanwhile, the PPP’s strong performance in these constituencies underscores their widespread support in the Sindh region. It is solidifying their position in the provincial assembly.
