According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, upper and central regions to affect first, with the weather system gradually moving to southern parts of Pakistan. The advisory covers multiple regions:
- Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan: Areas like Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Gilgit, Hunza, and others will likely receive heavy rain, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms from May 8 to 12.
- Punjab and Islamabad: Rawalpindi, Murree, Lahore, Multan, and surrounding areas will see strong winds, rain, and chances of hail between May 7 and May 11.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, and D.I. Khan expected to affected by heavy rainfall and thunderstorms till May 12.
- Sindh and Balochistan: Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Quetta, Zhob, and Lasbella are under rain and thunderstorm forecast from May 8 to 10.
