In a recent announcement, Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans for four special trains to operate in the lead-up to Eidul Fitr 2024. This move is aimed at ensuring a smooth and affordable journey for passengers wishing to return home for the festivities.
Amir Baloch, the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Railways, has indicated that fare reductions for these special trains are under consideration. This initiative is part of the department’s commitment to facilitating passenger travel during this significant period.
The special train services include two departures from Karachi. The first one is scheduled for April 7, heading to Peshawar, while the second one will make its journey to Lahore.
In addition, a special train is set to leave from Quetta to Rawalpindi on the same day. The final special train service, departing from Lahore to Karachi on April 9, is designed to assist citizens in returning home to spend the joyous occasion with their families.
