Pakistan Railways Decrease 10 Percent Fare on Long Distance Travel


Good news for travelers planning to travel via train service, as Pakistan Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced a 10% drop in fare for long distance travelers from Rawalpindi to Karachi.

Raza Habib, the DCO of Pakistan Railways has informed that there will be a drop of 600 rupees, from the previous fare of 5990, for travelling from Margalla to Karachi Cant. and Rawalpindi to Karachi Cant. Station, making the new fare 5390, to facilitate train travelers.

He said that due to the improvement in services there are more people travelling using trains every day, specifically the Rawalpindi Division has had a significant increase in income thanks to the efforts of the staffers.
