Pakistan Foreign Office Issues Strong Condemnation on Kabul Blasts

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Office strongly condemned the twin suicide attacks in Afghan capital of Kabul. The blasts have killed 25 people and wounded 49 others.

The official statement says that we are grieved at the loss of precious human lives in Kabul. We express our sympathies and condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives. We also pray to Almighty Allah for fast recovery of the injured.

The statement further read that Government and people of Pakistan express their support and solidarity with their Afghan brethren. We are confident that the resolve of Afghan people to defeat terrorism will not be weakened by these attacks.

Successive blasts in Kabul killed 25 people earlier today. This includes journalists who had arrived on the spot to report on the first explosion. They were apparently targeted by a suicide bomber in a second attack at the same place as the first explosion.
