The latest global passport update for 2025 puts the UAE at the top again with access to 179 destinations. Pakistan struggles near the bottom with major limits on travel. This breakdown explains the current Pakistani passport ranking, the strongest passport in the world, and how global mobility continues to shift.
UAE Keeps the Strongest Passport in the World as Pakistani Passport Ranking Falls Behind
The 2025 list of the best passports in the world came out this week. The new index shows the UAE holds the strongest passport in the world again. It gives its citizens access to 179 destinations without a visa. Arton Capital shared the data and showed how the UAE keeps this lead for the seventh year.
The report also shows a clear shift. Many major countries lost access to travel in 2025. The UAE did not. It kept its strength through steady agreements and stable ties. That is why it stays at the top of global searches for the best passport in the world.
However, the Pakistani passport ranking remains weak. Pakistan stands at the 91st spot in Arton Capital’s list. Some other global indexes also place Pakistan near the bottom. The Pakistani passport ranking in 2025 continues to limit travel. Only a small number of destinations allow visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry.
Most weak passports face issues tied to security, global policy changes, and fewer bilateral agreements. Pakistan falls in that zone again this year. The list shows how the global travel gap keeps growing. The UAE moves ahead while Pakistan stays near the bottom. Many expect this divide to stay unless new agreements change the pattern.
