Pakistani Passport Visa-Free Countries Updated List Released Amid Ranking Decline

The most recent report issued by Henley Passport Index has ranked the Pakistani passport at the 103rd position in the world, with the same score as Yemen. Gulf News reports that Pakistani passport holders now have a visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to 31 countries in the world.

Decline in Pakistani Passport Ranking 2025

Pakistan has been ranked 96th in the previous index which allowed access to 32 countries. The new post is an indication of a deterioration in the freedom of travel and it shows a great change in the Pakistani passport ranking of 2025 in comparison to previous years.

At the international level, Singapore is ranked first as it provides visa-free access to 193 nations. The countries of South Korea and Japan are also one of the most powerful passports. This has seen the US lose the first position in the top 10 with 180 destinations being visa-free.

At the same time, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are placed at the lowest positions of the index, 104th, 105 th, and 106 th respectively.
