Pandora Papers Revealed Financial Secrets Of Powerful Personalities

Financiers, retired generals, media owners and businessmen including Prime Minister?s cabinet are listed in Pandora papers for of shores businesses.

Compared to the Panama Papers, a large chunk of data leaked by major offshore companies in size and scope made headlines on Sunday night. With members of PM Imran Khan’s cabinet, including the world’s richest and most powerful financiers offshore companies are exposed. Retired generals, media owners and businessmen?s are also in the list.

More than 700 Pakistanis are in the data and most of them are tax residents in this country. Pandora’s information box has cause endless worries and anxieties for these people.

It has unveiled more than 330 government officials from 90 countries. It includes 35 current and former leaders from different countries.

For Pakistan, the files are a major test of the credentials of Prime Minister Imran Khan. It is an opportunity to burn his credentials as an anti-corruption warrior. Some of his key team members and financiers have appeared in the Pandora list.

Minister for Finance & Revenue Shaukat Fayyaz Tarin, President of the National Bank of Pakistan Arif Usmani , Minister for Water Resources Chaudhry Moonis Elahi and Elahi?s predecessor Faisal Vawda, PM?s ambassador at large for Foreign Investment Ali Jehangir Siddiqui, Managing Director of the National Investment Trust Adnan Afridi, are most prominent from PTI.
