The resolution submitted in the National Assembly to form Parliamentary Commision that will investigate rigging in the General Election 2018.

The Parliamentary Commission to probe rigging in Pakistan Election 2018 will be formed. However, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi presented the resolution in the National Assembly in this regard.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser is leading the session. However, PM Imran Khan, leaders of opposition parties, and federal cabinet members are also attending the session.


Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Shazia Marri took to the floor and prescribed that the oppostition and government ought to have square with portrayal in the commission. She said that NA’s leader of the opposition should seat the commission to guarantee the investigation is transparent.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khurram Dastgir resounded comparable slants and requested that NA’s leader of the opposition be made commission’s head.

Accordingly, FM Qureshi said that they will prefer not to keep anything covered up. It is the opposition’s entitlement to challenge and their reservations have been enlisted.

Soliciting the NA’s leader of the opposition to exhibit his perspective Qureshi said that the  transparent elections are fundamental for majority rules system. Further, he guaranteed that the commission will be enabled.
