PIA Name Changed to Air Pakistan Officially

A significant step has been made by the Government of Pakistan in the privatization process of Pakistan International airlines (PIA) where they are agreed to change the name of the national airline to Air Pakistan.

Sources also indicate that other than changing its name, the airline logo, aircraft livery, and general design will also be redesigned to provide it with a new and modern look as per international standards. The relocation will help the airline to associate itself with the past financial crises and the negative reputation and rebrand as a lucrative and stable company.

Officials said the process of registering the airline under the name Air Pakistan has already begun in official records and legal documentation. In the coming days, the new name and logo will be prominently displayed on all aircraft.

Government sources added that this rebranding is a key part of the privatization strategy, aimed at strengthening the process and restoring investor confidence.
