In a recent development, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily suspended its flight operations between Islamabad and Gilgit. This decision comes after just two days of resumed service, starting on November 1st. This move has resulted in the cancellation of a total of 19 flights.

PIA, the national airline of Pakistan, initially resumed four flights between Islamabad and Gilgit. These flights included PK-601, PK-602, PK-605, and PK-606. Additionally, flights PK-233 to Dubai, PK-631 and PK-632 to Sukkur, as well as PK-368 and PK-369 to Karachi, were also affected by this suspension.

This development has left travelers and commuters between these destinations in a state of uncertainty, as the airline has not provided details about the reasons behind this abrupt halt in service. Passengers are advised to stay updated with PIA’s announcements and alternative travel arrangements until regular flight operations are restored.
