PIA had commenced its direct flight to Australia in coming of April 2022. In a tweet by Air Marshal Arshad Malik, CEO of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Ltd apprised the flight will operate from Lahore to Sydney on Friday and Sidney to Lahore on Sunday. Clearance has been submitted to the PIA by Civil Aviation Safety Authority a week ago.
Direct flights will not just be a save of time for the boarding passengers but will also assist free baggage of 45 kgs and 55 kgs for the economy and executive passengers. Further added, he directed to provide best of best services to the passengers.
Due to the pandemic, aviation management was highly affected. The unexpected lockdown crisis had disturbed the aviation businesses around the globe. PIA plans to enlarge its airlines’ network. A direct flight to Baku from Karachi and Lahore was initiated in march 2022. This initiative was a result of promoting tourism and strengthening friendly relations with the Central Asian Republic (CAR) under the national flag.
